COMMUNITY & GOVERNANCE

The Role of Community

At the heart of Moden AI lies a simple principle: AI should be shaped by the people who use it.

The community is more than just a group of users—it is the collective force driving development, adoption, and accountability. From early testers to token holders and content contributors, the Moden AI ecosystem is designed to empower its community to participate meaningfully in its future.

Community members can contribute by:

  • Testing new features and providing feedback

  • Participating in governance through $MODEN token voting

  • Promoting adoption through content, referrals, or local chapters

  • Onboarding professionals and developers to expand real-world use cases

  • Translating and localizing Moden AI across cultures and regions

Governance Framework (DAO-lite)

Moden AI introduces a DAO-lite structure—a semi-decentralized governance system that empowers token holders without compromising on development speed or security.

Governance is designed to be:

  • Gradual – Transitioning from centralized decision-making to full community-driven control

  • Transparent – All proposals, votes, and decisions will be public

  • Accessible – Minimum $MODEN thresholds to participate are low to promote inclusivity

  • Secure – Voting mechanisms are verifiable on-chain and shielded from manipulation

Governance Mechanics

Participation Requirements:

  • Must hold $MODEN in a self-custodial wallet

  • Snapshot system used to verify token balance at proposal time

  • No KYC required for governance unless voting on regulatory-sensitive features

Voting Power: Voting power is proportional to token holdings, with potential weighting for long-term stakers.

Proposal Topics May Include:

  • Feature prioritization and roadmap decisions

  • Allocation of Community Treasury funds

  • Grant proposals for developers and local advocates

  • Partnerships and protocol integrations

  • Token utility upgrades or buyback mechanisms

Community Treasury

A portion of the total token supply (from the Community allocation) is reserved as a Community Treasury to support proposals that:

  • Build new tools or integrations for Moden AI

  • Host events, workshops, or local meetups

  • Create multilingual content or educational resources

  • Launch adoption campaigns or hackathons

The treasury will be governed via on-chain votes, with multisig or DAO governance control transitioning over time.

Ambassador & Contributor Programs

To grow a vibrant and global ecosystem, Moden AI will launch official:

  • Ambassador Programs – to represent Moden in their local regions and communities

  • Contributor Grants – to fund developers, designers, educators, and researchers contributing to the project

  • AI Fellows Program – a mentorship and collaboration initiative for AI researchers to experiment with Moden’s platform via open APIs

Moderation & Ethics

The Moden AI community will maintain a Code of Conduct to ensure a respectful, inclusive, and innovative environment. Moderators will be voted or appointed by community members during early phases.

Community is not just a feature—it is the foundation of a future where human-AI collaboration thrives.
